About Earthens

At EARTHENS, we blend the rich heritage of Indian craftsmanship with contemporary eco-conscious design. Founded by Ashima, Manish, and Nilesh in 2012, our journey began with a deep appreciation for the simplicity and sustainability of rural Indian life. Inspired by childhood memories of life in Indian villages – from leisurely walks through millet fields to enjoying meals on leaf plates – we set out to create something truly unique.

Our journey took a transformative turn when Nilesh brought back palm leaf plates from South India. This sparked a vision to refine these simple, biodegradable items into a sophisticated line of single-use dinnerware. Each piece of EARTHENS tableware is crafted from fallen leaves using steam, heat, and pressure – no plastics, glues, or toxins involved.
